Sheetkrama  Kapalbhati . Sheetkrama Kapalbhati is a skull shining breathing technique which makes our mind cool and help us to stay fit . With the help of Sheetkrama Kapalbhati we can make our skin glow also . The description of Sheetkrama Kapalbhati is also given in very famous Yogic text which is Gheranda Samhita .

Sheetkrama Kapalbhati is a part of Shatkarma (sixpurificatory of Hatha Yoga ) . Kapalbhati word has a very impressive meaning which implies "Kapal" means "Skull" and "Bhati" means to "Shine " . In Sheetkrama Kapalbhati , water is sucked through the mouth and expelled through the nose .

Ways / Proper method to do Sheetkrama Kapalbhati :-

  • You can also add a table spoon of salt to one liter of water ( if you want only ) .
  • This warm water can help you to clean the mucous cleaning of nasal cavity and avoids irritation . 
  •  Now you have to curl your tongue to create a channel . Create suction and suck in water with the curled tongue making a hissing sound . 
  • Now you have to fill your mouth with water , hold it for few seconds .
  • Bend your tongue forward with the head titled downwards and nostrils pointing towards the floor . 
  • Try to expel the water through the nose that should happen naturally by gravity . 
  • Try to tuck the throat inside towards the back of the neck to to make it easier for the water flow from the mouth to the nasal cavity and out through the nostrils . 
  • You have to expel the water in every few seconds in the beginning bu in installments . 
  • Spit out the remaining water from the mouth . 
  • Once you become the expert you can expel all the water in one go . 
  • Repeat the process for 4-5 times .
  • After completing the process close your eyes , relax and feel the sensations in your body

   Benifits of doing Sheetkrama Kapalbhati :-

  • It helps to keep our mind calm and cool . 
  • It helps to make our skin of face very cheerful . 
  • Sheetkrama Kapalbhati removes kapha dosh , gives good health and vigour to the body .

Things that should be remember while doing Sheetkrama Kapalbhati :- 

  • It is very important to remember that maintain right angle while you have to fill your mouth with water . 
  • Due to nervousness water goes to the back of the throat . so do steps slowly .
  • To avoid blockage of water check the end of the nose for any obstacles & aligns it straight .
  • Pot in which water is contained ensure that it is clean . So the pollutants do not present in the water . 
  • Do not take tension about this technique otherwise it will leads to headache . Do not take tension with regular practice you can do Sheetkrama Kapalbhati comfortably
